The News & Observer receives incident reports from area law enforcement agencies containing information from every report filed by an officer in response to a service call. This includes the offense, date, time and location of the incident. It does not represent arrests, traffic citations or accidents.
Currently, you can search incidents reported from Raleigh Police (updated daily), Cary Police (updated each Tuesday), Wake County Sheriffs Office (updated daily) and Garner Police (updated monthly). Incidents go back to January, 2001 for each agency. For more information on a particular incident, call your police department with the case number.
NOTE: Wake Co. Sheriff and Garner Police incidents are not currently being updated due to changes they have made to their incident management systems. We hope to obtain those past incidents and resume regular updates as soon as possible. Thank you.
